Hot Cocoa Weather

I love Fall! Of course, San Diego Fall lacks the great changing of leaves, but the crisp weather is starting to arrive. Last night, some girls came over and we just chatted in dim light, surrounded by lit candles, and drank hot cocoa with marshmallows. I love those type of moments!

We had our prenatal appointment yesterday, and things seem to be going well. Reeve doesn't like it when I lay up on the table, I think she is worried something bad is happening to me, so she sits next to me and helps the midwife. The midwife was kneading my stomach to wake baby Denver up so we could get a good heartbeat, and then Reeve proceeded to do the same. She has been part of the process since the beginning and I think she enjoys listening and poking and sitting up on the table and watching me get my blood pressure taken. I don't think she has put two and two together, but that's okay--we just keep talking about the baby in mama's belly, and she will understand it soon enough!

She did rub my belly the other night when we were reading and singing songs before bed and then leaned over to kiss it. That was a heart melter.
