We had another doctor's appointment today. After the midwife checked, I am more effaced than 50%, 1 centimeter dialated and the baby is in station 0 (which is an improvement from being -2 at my last visit). It appears that the walks, primrose oil, and yoga stretching are doing their job, as the baby's head has moved down considerably since last week so we will see! It has been recommended that we make tentative plans at our backup hospital for induction on Sunday/Monday as I can only deliver at the birthing center up until 42 weeks. Rorke and I have really wanted to experience a natural water birth at the birthing center and hope that will still be a possibility, but we're not going down without a fight! If Baby Denver doesn't arrive by Thursday, I will be taking castor oil to help naturally induce and from what I read, that isn't the most pleasant experience! So, keep us in your prayers and send a little extra encouragement to our little one that it's okay to come now! :)
--Also, from the picture, you can tell that my back could use a break! The 'Are you having twins?' question is getting a little old.
Tracy even at 40+ weeks you still look beautiful! I wish baby Denver would have came a couple of days ago but I can't wait to meet him/her! =)
