Here is our cutie in her Fourth of July gear. I love how when you are small you have outfits for all occassions--how awesome is that?! We went over to a good friend of ours house and had great food and company. Reeve lasted for about 3 hours which is pretty great, considering there were several other kids in attendance and lots of new folks she hadn't seen before. She even managed to fall asleep while we were there, so Mama got to enjoy a hot meal! I can't remember the last time I got to eat something when it was a) warm or b) not having to bounce and entertain a little one between each bite.
We have a deep appreciation for the 4th in our family since Rorke is in the military. That Independence we enjoy each day isn't free! And many years from now, even when Rorke isn't in the military, this holiday will always hold a special place in our lives, for we will remember what all he sacrificed and we as a family endured as part of his service to our country. Thank you to all the men and women who do so each day!
It is amazing how much she looks like you did as a baby! I can't wait to see her.
